The castle kitchen was one of the most vital spaces, designed to meet the needs of a large household and high-ranking guests. Located near the reception rooms, it consisted of two chambers: a smaller room with an oven, and a larger one dominated by a grand fireplace, whose imposing structure still survives. The kitchen was carefully organised, with areas dedicated to meat preparation, baking, and food storage, reflecting a sophisticated and complex management system. During festive occasions, the kitchen became the heart of sumptuous banquets, demonstrating the prestige of the Caetani family.
