The servants’ quarters housed the staff responsible for the castle’s daily life. They were generally located on the lower floors or in more secluded areas, reflecting both the social hierarchy and the need to keep representative spaces separate from working ones. Their proximity to the Painted Rooms and the Sala dei Baroni made it possible to manage the noble quarters quickly and efficiently. Though modest, the rooms were valued for their simplicity and functionality. Today, they illustrate the castle’s operational dimension, highlighting the contrast between noble and working environments, essential to the functioning of a fortified aristocratic residence.
